The hotel localization is good, the breakfast was great and the value for money of this hotel is very interesting

I found that the obligation to pay in advance is a little bit strange, but I had no problem with that

All the rooms are facing the main road, and just to close to the city centre. So it is very noisy at night, you can hear the big truck moving, the alarm of police car

The friendly people and music in the bar in the evening.

    Bathrooms where showing there age.

horrible place dangerous location horrible food dirty

I liked that it was just a short walk to O'connel street with great transport links.

The room we stayed in was in an annex which was extremely cold, the lights didn't work and there was no hot water. We asked to move rooms and when we did, it was a lot better but still there were issues with the hot water. The other thing was that the size of the bed was really too small for a couple, definately not a double. I think this place would best suit single backpackers.

Friendly staff. Security on front door. Near city centre and train station.Very reasonably priced.Room was warm and comfortable with tea making facilities.

Shower should be more adaptable. Prefer hand-hold shower for safety reasons (to prevent too hot of water for shower or washing hair)

It is located in a great area just off o Connell Street.

I only stayed one night and that was enough, it was very old fashioned and as I was awake from the previous night from 2.30 am I was wrecked by 11pm, the music in the bar was very loud and even though it was only one guy. The night porter had very little english and was of no help, The fire alarm was going off for about 2 hours followed by a beeping noise and when I went down stairs to see was there a fire the night porter was staring at the fire alarm and just hadn't a clue what to do nor did he understand me when I offered to have a look and see if I could stop the alarm.Room was very small also. The best name for this hotel is Faulty Towers!!! No appology was offered at all

Close to city and good hospitality.

The smoke alarm was faulty in the middle of night.

The hotel was clean, warm and the staff helpful and friendly. We were very close to the shops and about a 15 minute walk away from Temple Bar. Well situated for the airport link bus service.

Locaton I think was good, price was reasonable (until I saw the room)

The room was not like any of the photos of the hotel. Very small, outside like a cow shed. Room was only 30eur so I suppose I got what I paid for but was have been ok if I didn't feel like it was falsely advertised. Hotel itself looks nice enough just a dodgy room

We choose this hotel because it was very near the departure point for our tour. It wasnìt too expensive and therefore as far as services etc it was addequit for it's price range. The room however where very clean and the staff friendly enough especially as our tour departed at 6am and they still opened the breakfast room for us at this time. Thank you for that.

The only thing that I could say was that the loose floor boards in the two rooms that we stayed in all made alot of noise as you walked, which was a little annoying late at night as we could hear all the movement on the floor above us. However that has to be expected of an old hotel I think. The rooms have all been modernised but the floor boards must be original.

Constant banging of doors all through the night, got very little sleep! Beds were very uncomfortable and the room was extremely warm all night, a lot of noise from outside from early in the mornin, impossible to sleep. I dont get the point of having to give back your key to the reception desk everytime you leave the building, I will never waist my money in this hotel again!

    Locstion

We were put in what seemed to be a different building away from the main hotel, there was a strong smell of alcohol throughout the building and drunk ppl knocking on our door all night screaming and roaring banging doors and our phone in room didn't even so we could could not contact reception and we were afraid to leave the room

  • Group of friends

The Maple had friendly staff and was close to the train station and close to the city centre.

  • Couple

Had to pay for car parking that cost €20.00 for the night. This is a must in this area so must be considered. Ceiling in the bathroom leaking. Carpet in the hall very dirty. Dont boder staying here.
